Hacienda La Ensenada is a Natural Wildlife Refuge. Located on the Pacific Coast in the province of Puntarenas, on the Nicoya Gulf, at two hours from S.Josè and one hour and 25 minutes from Liberia.
It is an ideal place for horseback riders, birdwatchers and nature lovers. Some of the most important activities of this ranch are cattle and horses, also salt production and the growing of papaya and mango.
