The Riu Guanacaste, a hacienda style hotel, is a seafront property located in the beautiful region of Guanacaste, at the Pacific coast of Costa Rica where the combination of sea and jungle create an extraordinary landscape. The 5-star resort has a total of 701 rooms equipped with air conditioning,  balcony or terrace, minibar and liquor dispenser, among other services. The resort, which opened in 2009, offers the renowned 24 Hour All Inclusive Service by RIU, a wide gastronomic offer,  entertainment program for all ages, and facilities for different types of events in its five conference rooms.

The hotel’s restaurants feature a wide range of options. The main buffet restaurant ‘ Liberia ‘ offers  international cuisine including live show cooking and themed dinners three times a week. The hotel also  has three specialty restaurants a la carte: the Asian ‘Furama’, the Italian ‘La Toscana’ and finally the Grill and Steakhouse ‘Ocotal’. Moreover, guests can enjoy cocktails, soft drinks and snacks in five different bars.

The hotel has a large fresh water swimming pool with Jacuzzi and children’s pool. Rocks and waterfalls divide the pool located in a garden of 35,000 square meters in different areas. The offer for the little ones is completed with a playground and mini club, while adults have free use of the Renova Spa, the gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Nights at the Riu Guanacaste are also full of fun options with the Pacha nightclub and a casino .
