The Sierra Hotel is near Cacao, Puntarenitas, Zancudo and San Josecito beaches, surrounded by the Piedras Blancas National Park. Golfo Dulce is the habitat of a great variety of fishes and a unique dolphin specimen lives there. Playa Pavones in this zone boasts the third largest waves for surfing in the world after Hawaii and Australia.
